In respect to the core music industry practice, the firm handles all levels of artist recording agreements and agreements relating to the licensing, distribution, sales, and marketing of recorded music and video product. The firm’s new media practice performs large amounts of content licensing transactions for multi-screen programming in all genres. In this area, services include acquisition and production of content generated for integrated new media platforms such as mobile programming, podcasts, VOD, and interactive TV.

In addition to the traditional transactional matters, the firm also acts in a production advisory role to production houses and independent producers in all stages of television production development matters, including the negotiation, drafting and administration of all rights and clearance matters, and rendering advice on clearance costs/budgeting and risk assessment related to traditional and multiscreen offerings.
